Tom came to visit me recently when he was four weeks old. He was very interested in what was going on and didn’t want to go to sleep at first but the magic of some white noise and the warm studio worked it’s magic and he did drift off for a nap for a while to allow me to get some sleepy portraits. Once he woke up again, he was full of beans and gurgles and was talking to me for a long time – telling me all about what he’ll be when he grows up no doubt!
For those mum’s who think they’ve missed the boat for newborn photography at four week, take heart. An experienced photographer will be able to do the majority of poses with a baby of this age (of course depending on the baby on the day) 🙂
